ACOUSTIC ART PRIVACY NOTICE

Last updated: 2026-10-16

Permanent Media Corporation, carrying on business as acoustic.art, is accountable for personal information collected through acoustic.art. This notice governs that information. Contact is support@acoustic.art.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND WHY

We collect the email address you use to open an account, so we can send the one-time code and the messages an order requires. We collect the image you upload, the wall size, the layer count, and any short modifier you type, so we can compile a design. We collect the name and delivery address on an order, and the delivery country and region used to show tax, so we can sell, ship, and show the tax before you pay. We collect payment confirmation from our payment processor. We do not store the full card number.

When you accept this notice’s companion SLA at publication or at payment, and when you attempt a render, we take the internet address of that request and store a keyed hash of it, together with a shortened browser string. We use that record to prove the acceptance and to enforce render limits.

A reduced copy of an uploaded image, the wall size, the layer count, and the short modifier may be sent to Google so an art-director model can return a plan. The image is required to make the wall.

WHO PROCESSES IT

Supabase holds the account, the design, and the order. Stripe processes the payment. Resend delivers the email. Google receives the art-director input described above. Vercel hosts the site. These providers may process and store the information outside Canada, including in the United States. We remain accountable under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act for information we transfer to them.

We use the information to run the account, compile the design, take payment, ship the order, keep the acceptance record, enforce render limits, and answer you. We do not sell personal information. A buyer of the business may receive the records as part of that transaction.

MARKETING

We do not send marketing email unless you consent. A message that only confirms or completes an order you placed is not marketing. A marketing message identifies us and tells you how to withdraw consent. You may withdraw consent by writing to support@acoustic.art. Withdrawal does not undo an order already made. An account cannot run without the email address.

RETENTION

We keep order and payment records for 7 years. On a verified deletion request we overwrite the name and email on the account. An unpublished design can be deleted with the account. The preview and the manufacturing record of a design that was published or sold may be kept. The acceptance record is kept with the order.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may ask what we hold, ask for a correction, and challenge our handling, by writing to support@acoustic.art. We answer an access request within the time the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act allows, including any permitted extension. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

The studio is not directed at anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under that age.

This notice is governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. We may post a new version. The date above is the version.
